

The Chrysalis Centre for the Empowerment of Children has been in place since 2009, when it became the Centre where the Butterfly Project launched its first ever Christmas Programme. Since then it has been the location for many children's activities, working with over 200 slum-dwelling children since its inception.
We split our work into four areas:
a) Open-house advice and one to one counselling for children up to 15
b) Holiday programmes for children, such as drama, music, crafts, dance etc.
c) Regular clubs during term-time, such as Films, ICT, Taekwondo, Athletics, board games and many others
d) Residential training of social entrepreneurship for members of the Butterfly Young Social Entrepreneur Group. More info on our training methods...
