Whilst we are hopeful that sufficient people will see the value and innovation of the share issue, we have made provision, in case the share issue is undersubscribed.
If we do not reach a target of £10,000, then money will be refunded and our project will be downscaled for next year, possibly closed. See below for a table, which explains a little more clearly how the more money we can raise, the more can be achieved.

If we reach £10,000, then land will be acquired in Uganda and melons will be planted. The existing Chrysalis Centre will remain open, but the Chrysalis School will close. There will be some residual Young Social Entrepreneur Activities. We can still expect to give a return on investment.

If we can reach £20,000, then we will house the existing school members next year in our home location and support them on their village developments. In return they will plant watermelons in their home villages, which can still expect to give a return on investment. A small plot of land will be acquired to boost sales of melons. There will be some Young Social Entrepreneur training at weekends.

If we can reach £50,000, then we will recruit a new group of members from rural areas and house them at the Chrysalis Centre, where they will attend local schools. The existing members will be given boarding places in new schools nearby, as we cannot house both groups. We will run a full Young Social Entrepreneurs Programme at weekends. A plot of land will be purchased to boost melon sales, to maximise chances of give a return on investment.

If we reach £100,000, then we will recruit new members, but we will also build a new school for members. We will also extend the Chrysalis Centre for Young Social Entrepreneurs, so that it can house many more activities and give dormitory accommodation to the rural members of the project. We will also acquire land and develop the Young Social Entrepeneurs Network this year, augmenting it to sixty in Kampala.
